Role Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Solution Architect to drive Application Development and Modernization initiatives. The role involves engaging with clients to understand business challenges, assessing existing application landscapes, defining target-state architectures, and designing scalable, cloud-ready solutions. The Solution Architect will work closely with Sales, Delivery, Engineering, and Technology teams to develop winning solutions that align with business objectives and digital transformation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirement Discovery
  • Collaborate with sales and clients to understand business objectives, pain points, and target-state outcomes.
  • Conduct technical and business discovery workshops with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing application landscape, architecture, and modernization needs.

2. Solution Design

  • Architect scalable, secure, and resilient applications using modern technologies (.NET, Java, Python, microservices, APIs).
  • Design cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Define end-to-end architecture including application, integration, data, and security layers.
  • Apply DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, automation, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Ensure alignment with non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, and scalability.

3. Proposals & Commercials

  • Develop technical proposals, solution documents, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Support effort estimation, pricing models, and cost optimization strategies.

4. Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Leadership

  • Lead technical presentations and solution walkthroughs for business and IT stakeholders.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations to validate solution feasibility.

Core Skills Required

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of application architecture and system design.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (architecture-level knowledge).
  • Microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes (architectural understanding).
  • Secure application design principles.

Soft Skills

  • Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Experience

  • 4–6 years of overall IT experience, with 2–4 years in Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting roles.
  • Prior exposure to application development or modernization projects is preferred.
  • Experience in pre-sales or client-facing solutioning is a strong advantage.
