Role Overview

Lead end-to-end cloud migration solution design and delivery for enterprise customers migrating
workloads to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Serve as the technical authority on migration strategy,
assessment, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect large-scale migration solutions using industry frameworks (e.g., AWS MAP,
    Azure Migration Program)
  • Conduct portfolio discovery and assessment using tools such as AWS Migration Hub, Application
    Discovery Service, Azure Migrate, or equivalent
  • Define migration strategies (6Rs: Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, Retain) for
    diverse application portfolios
  • Create detailed migration runbooks, landing zone designs, and wave planning documents
  • Lead technical workshops and Well-Architected or Azure Well-Architected Reviews with customer
    stakeholders
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless migration execution and cutover planning
  • Provide technical guidance on networking, security, identity, and compliance during migrations
  • Support pre-sales activities including effort estimation, SOW creation, and proposal development

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or systems engineering
  • 2+ years of hands-on cloud migration experience with AWS or Azure
  • Strong knowledge of cloud core services — AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation)
    or Azure (Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, VNet, Azure AD, Azure SQL, Functions, ARM or Bicep)
  • Experience with migration tools: AWS MGN, DMS, CloudEndure or Azure Migrate, Azure Database
    Migration Service, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure (VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory)
  • Cloud certification preferred — AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, or Azure Solutions
    Architect Expert

Preffered Qualification

  • Experience with large-scale migrations (500+ servers)
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
  • Multi-cloud experience (proficiency in both AWS and Azure)
  • Prior experience in SI or consulting environmen
