ZagTech’s requirements went beyond typical cloud migration. They wanted a fully private AWS cloud infrastructure setup that could separate testing and production workloads while keeping all systems hidden from public exposure.

TeleGlobal’s Approach 

Our team at TeleGlobal began by understanding ZagTech’s business goals, user workflows, and compliance needs. Based on this, we designed a custom private AWS infrastructure hosted in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. 

The solution was built around four key pillars: security, scalability, privacy, and operational efficiency. 

The Solution 

1. Private AWS Hosting Architecture 

TeleGlobal deployed a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with isolated private subnets for testing and production environments. 

  • All EC2 instances were placed in private subnets with no public IP addresses. 
  • A dedicated OpenVPN server was configured to manage administrative access. 
  • IAM roles and Security Groups were implemented for precise access control. 

This structure ensured that no external access was possible without VPN authentication. 

2. Secure Application Access 

To manage application traffic safely, we used an Application Load Balancer (ALB) as the single access point. 

  • The ALB distributed traffic between the backend servers securely. 
  • Amazon Route 53 handled DNS management and custom domain mapping. 
  • All internal IPs remained hidden behind the load balancer, preventing any direct exposure. 

3. Data Security and Encryption 

Data protection was a top priority. 

  • AWS Key Management Service (KMS) was enabled to encrypt all EBS volumes. 
  • Sensitive data at rest and in transit remained encrypted. 
  • The setup met AWS standards for data privacy and compliance in India. 

4. Simplified Deployment Workflow 

TeleGlobal implemented a clear deployment pipeline: 

  1. New builds were first deployed to the Test Server. 
  1. After validation, updates were promoted to Production. 
  1. End users accessed the application via Route 53 → ALB → EC2. 
  1. Administrative access remained limited to VPN users. 

This process improved operational control and reduced deployment risks.
