Making Local Languages AI Work on the Cloud 

Project Summary 

Client is an education technology platform, wanted to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) could support learning in regional Indian languages. The goal was to use a powerful AI model called OpenHathi to understand and respond to local languages. Teleglobal was brought in to handle the full cloud setup and make sure the AI system ran smoothly, securely, and with high performance. 

Objectives 

  • Build a secure and private cloud environment for running the AI 
  • Make the regional language AI accessible through the Client’s internal systems 
  • Ensure the solution is safe, scalable, and cost-effective 
  • Fully test the setup for accuracy, speed, and reliability 

What We Built 

A Secure Digital Environment 

We created a protected space on AWS (Amazon Web Services) where only trusted users and tools could interact with the AI system. This safeguarded it from unauthorized access and kept everything under control. 

Controlled Access 

Special permissions were put in place so that only approved components from the client’s systems could reach the model and related data. 

A Safe Storage Area 

A cloud storage space was set up to hold the AI model files, questions asked, and the answers generated — making it easy to manage and monitor. 

Hosting the AI Model 

Using powerful cloud tools, we made the OpenHathi model available online — capable of responding to questions in a preferred local language and ready for practical use in real education scenarios. 

How the AI Was Brought Online 

  • Environment Setup: We installed all the required software and tools 
  • Secure Access: We ensured the right users had access to the system 
  • Model Deployment: We activated the AI model and connected it to the client’s environment 

Testing & Results 

  • We tested the AI using real examples and questions in local languages 
  • The model responded quickly and accurately 
  • System performance and health were monitored continuously 
  • Access was secure and limited only to authorized users 

Achievement

With custom educational data provided by the Client, the deployed model achieved an impressive 97% accuracy in understanding and responding to student queries — a major win in localized AI adoption.
