Overview
CubikTech is a fast-growing software development company that creates customized digital solutions, automation workflows, and AI-driven tools for marketing and sales teams in the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) industry.
As client projects expanded, the company needed a stronger cloud infrastructure to manage increasing workloads efficiently while maintaining cost control and robust security. The existing environment lacked scalability, centralized management, and visibility across deployments.
To address these challenges, CubikTech partnered with TeleGlobal International, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, to design and deploy a cloud foundation that supports growth, enhances performance, and strengthens data security.
The Challenge
CubikTech wanted a cloud infrastructure that could grow with its business and support multiple applications with high availability and security. The company faced several key challenges:
- Application slowdowns during peak traffic
- Limited visibility into system health and performance
- Increasing manual effort for monitoring and maintenance
- Lack of centralized traffic management
- Rising operational costs and inefficient resource utilization
- Security risks due to limited access control mechanisms
The goal was to build a modern, AWS-based infrastructure that improved performance, reduced operational overhead, and ensured secure, consistent deployments.
The Solution
TeleGlobal International designed and implemented a robust AWS infrastructure that met CubikTech’s business, technical, and security requirements. The deployment followed AWS Well-Architected Framework guidelines to ensure long-term reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
1. Compute and Environment Setup
Two Amazon EC2 instances were configured – one for production workloads and another for testing. This dual-environment model ensured stability in production while allowing testing and deployment validation in parallel.
2. Database Modernization
Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL) replaced self-managed databases, improving availability, automating backups, and reducing maintenance overhead. The managed service enhanced reliability and simplified database management.
3. Secure Storage
Amazon S3 was deployed for storing application assets and data backups. S3’s encrypted, durable storage provided an efficient and secure way to manage critical files and reduce storage costs.
4. Traffic Management
An Application Load Balancer (ALB) was added to distribute traffic evenly across EC2 instances, ensuring high availability and consistent user experience. It also minimized the risk of downtime by automatically rerouting requests in case of server failures.
5. Monitoring and Visibility
Amazon CloudWatch was configured to provide real-time visibility into infrastructure performance. It collected and analyzed key metrics for EC2, RDS, and ALB while generating automated alerts for early issue detection.
6. Security and Access Controls
The AWS environment was secured using IAM roles, Security Groups, and private subnets to restrict access. Controlled permissions ensured that only authorized users could access sensitive resources.
AWS Services Implemented
| Layer | AWS Service | Purpose |
| Compute | Amazon EC2 | Scalable and flexible compute instances |
| Database | Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL) | Managed relational database with automated maintenance |
| Storage | Amazon S3 | Secure and durable object storage for assets and backups |
| Load Balancing | Application Load Balancer | Even traffic distribution and fault tolerance |
| Monitoring | Amazon CloudWatch | Real-time monitoring, alerts, and optimization insights |
| Security | IAM, Security Groups | Identity management and network protection |
Outcomes
The deployment of AWS infrastructure significantly improved CubikTech’s operational efficiency, performance reliability, and overall security posture.
- 99.9% uptime achieved through a load-balanced EC2 setup.
- 40% reduction in operational effort using managed AWS services like RDS and CloudWatch.
- 60% improvement in security with IAM-based access controls and private subnets.
Business Impact
The new AWS environment helped CubikTech streamline operations and focus on delivering value to clients.
- Improved reliability and faster response times for hosted applications
- Simplified infrastructure management through automation and monitoring
- Enhanced data protection with strict access controls
- Reduced manual maintenance and faster deployments
- Optimized cloud spending with a pay-as-you-go model
The architecture now supports future scalability, enabling CubikTech to handle new client workloads without compromising performance or cost efficiency.
Client Testimonial
“It has been really a good chance to work with TeleGlobal’s team for one of our client deployments in the tech industry. They really helped us from requirements gathering to planning, understanding, and supporting through the deployment, and were very active in sharing weekly updates regarding the performance and the server setup. We worked on DevOps services where they helped us with setting up the server, the security part, and a scalable server. Throughout the process, Gaithri helped us a lot in terms of communication and support, and also helped us with the credit so that our startup gets a really good edge. Even our client is really happy with their services. Thank you.”
