About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Manager with 4+ years of B2B sales experience to join our cloud sales team. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in cloud solution selling, and is motivated by generating pipeline and closing qualified opportunities. You’ll work closely with marketing, pre-sales, and field sales teams to engage high-potential accounts and accelerate revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive outbound and inbound sales activities to build a high-quality pipeline of cloud solution opportunities.
- Prospect and engage with mid-to-enterprise level clients to understand their cloud infrastructure needs and challenges.
- Conduct effective discovery and qualification using frameworks such as BANT or MEDDIC.
- Educate prospects on the value of our cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP) and align solutions to customer objectives.
- Collaborate with the field sales, solution architects, and marketing to execute campaigns and ensure seamless lead handoff.
- Consistently meet or exceed activity KPIs and opportunity generation targets.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales messaging, outreach strategies, and feedback loops with marketing
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of inside sales or business development experience in B2B technology sales, ideally with a focus on cloud or SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales pipeline and revenue goals.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern IT infrastructure trends.
- Proficient in using CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
- Skilled in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and consultative selling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a strategic mindset and strong organizational skills
